Today was the first day that I just could NOT get into a run. I left James & Carlo at the dog park at Lake Padden and planned to take a 2.6 mile lap around the lake. Planned...
My leg felt really really tight. Really. Really. Tight. So I sllooooowwwllllyyyy jogged about the first flat mile, then stopped to stretch for a good 5-10 minutes. I felt pretty good after that and tried to trot the rest of the way around the lake. Uh-uh. Not a chance. Couldn't do it - could hardly even walk. I felt kinda like my legs were disconnected from my body. So, I turned around and sulked my way back to the dog park.
Ugh. I may have to admit that I'm hurt or something. NAH!!!! Definitely very frustrated, though. Ick!
