About the Bear
The Bear is an Alaskan grandmotherly type wanting to wake up from a winter filled with activity but none of it physical. My goal is to increase stamina and lose girth for the long term. My first goal is to walk the Mayor's Half Marathon. URK!! That is the brakes coming on and my knee refusing to co-operate.
OK so now I have a date for my knee replacement surgery. No racing for me this calendar year. Just lots of leg lifts and bike riding to strengthen my thighs before surgery!!

It's that time again - yet another profile update!! The Baker skills course was infinitely more incredible than I ever could have imagined. Amazing. A-Maz-Ing!!!! That means next up is Rainier this July! HOORAY!!
Along the way, I'll continue to feed my budding Crossfit addiction at Jogo and feed my body in a Paleo-friendly manner. As always, there will be singing and dancing and playing outside!!
